2012 Classes

Additional pictures will be added as they become available.

Club  Wednesday January 4th  1pm or 6:30  or Saturday January 7th 2012.  $30 for the Year.

Grandmothers Flower Garden      Saturday January 14th, 10-12, Judie Findon   $20.00
English paper piecing is an easy, extremely accurate hand-piecing technique, a design based on the hexagon, a six-sided polygon.  Using a paper/mylar template, placed in the center of a larger fabric patch, the seam allowances are folded over the edges of the paper/mylar template and basted down.  The prepared fabric covered shapes are then sewn together along their edges to create geometric designs.  This is a great portable project to take anywhere to work on!  This is a technique class; you will learn how to make the hexagons.

Day & Night          Wednesday, January 18th, 6:00 to 9:00,  Lou Ann Elliott.         $20.00
Day & Night will mystify, enchant and entertain you! It is magical! The pattern is made from strips and the illusion is created by using the acrylic template, included in the back of the book, “Day & Night” by Eleanor Burns. Eleanor offers variations on making a quilt with two or three contracting colors. By using three or four fabric strips the blocks take on a whole new look! The sample quilt I made uses three fabrics/four strips.
