Dear Friends Happy Holidays! Christmas is almost here and New Year’s is right around the corner. We’d like to wish everyone the best for the New Year. We’ve made so many good friends and we’re truly thankful for every one of you. With the coming of the New Year, we hope you’ll be able to find plenty of time for sewing and quilting. We’ve put together a list of classes along with descriptions. Most of the class models are hanging in the shop and photos will be added to our website in the next few days. If you have any additional questions please just ask. The email with class descriptions will follow tomorrow in a separate email. Club will be restarting on January 4th at 1pm or 6:30 pm OR Saturday January 7th at 10:30am. Fee is $30 and allows you to attend which ever session suites your schedule. You’ll get a 20% discount when you attend club on your regular prices purchases. The girls who have been attending club say they’ve enjoyed the social time with others who have the same “addiction” and they’re inspired by seeing everyone else’s projects. At club in December we announced the 5 new block of the months for 2012. We have five different styles of quilts. Battik-Northern Star-it will be $30 a month for 12 months. The quilt measures 96” X 106” and does include fabrics for the backing. This one will start in January.  Generals Wives is a Civil War quilt that measure 100” square. It will be $25 per month for 12 months and does not include backing.  Appliqué is covered by the Merry Merry Snowmen quilt that measures 62” X 66”. This block of the month runs for 10 months at $25 per month and includes backing.  Bird’s Eye View by Kansas Troubles covers the country look and measures 96” X 104”. Its fee is $20 per month and it runs for 12 months starting in late February or March. Backing is not included in this kit fee.  Classy category is covered by Vintage Rouge and it starts in May running for 6 months at $31 each month. Again backing is not included. This quilt measures 78” X 78”.
These quilts are all beautiful and each a bit different from the other. Come in and get more details. Remember if you’re a club member you will receive the 20% Club discount if you pick up your block of the month kits at club. This is the only time a discount is given to block of the month kits but please note you don’t need to be a club member to do one of the block of the months. Please note we will be closed December 24th & 25th, as well as December 31st and January 1st.
